Medical Conditions Support Group


Support group for chronically ill aim to enable improvement in Quality of Life of individuals dealing with different physical conditions (cancer, MS, Dialysis patients, Diabetics). This is a mixed Group for patients and family members and friends emphasizing body-mind phenomenon to share and enhance individual and group experiences which help learn new coping skills to suit their current needs. In this type of therapy, participants are encouraged to talk about their disease and its effects on all aspects of their lives. It helps improve mood and the perception of pain, improvement in psychological symptoms such as anger, depression and distress.

Support Group for Caregivers


Many caregivers feel alone, helpless, confused, unprepared and unable to provide for the needs of their family member or friend with severely mental illness. Being a caregiver involves an investment in time, energy and support, experiencing many losses including the loss of control over their own life. Group therapy provides a unique opportunity to share issues, struggles and successes with others, while learning important new skills and options for life's challenges.
